Abstract Art

I am working on an abstract piece and I am having a hard time when I try to make my paint look like its rolling down the canvas.

How do I do this?

I must be totally honest with you Charlie and say, unfortunately, I have no idea.

I am certainly no artist and with all my experience being in decorating rather than art, this is very much outside of my area.

Running paint

Make your paint thinner by adding either a thinning medium or water to acrylic or if you're using oil, add a little mineral spirits to loosen the paint. Mix it with the chosen color and if you tap it on the canvas it will run down.
