My living room is quite small.
I have a large window on one wall and two doors - one gaining entry into the kitchen and the other to gain entry to the hallway.
I have a fire on the chimney breast wall with an alcove at each side.
My furniture consists of a three seater, a two seater and a chair in brown.
In one of the alcoves is a computer unit and the other alcove has a TV on the wall.
My floor is a dark brown laminate and the curtains are creamy/white with a brown/burgundy edging.
Do you have any advice on colours?
I did think about putting wallpaper on the chimney breast wall but I'm not sure.
I have added a picture of the wallpaper I'm looking at above.

I really like the wallpaper you are considering Ann. It is a really lovely shade of blue that lends itself to either a contemporary or more traditional room. I am a big fan of using a bold wallpaper on just one wall in a room - much cheaper and less overwhelming than papering the whole room.
I am sure you could easily find some cushions in a plain fabric in that shade of blue to add to your sofas or perhaps a plain blue rug.
