Windows in Tuscany
Well, not quite a window treatment... will a style do??
Over the last few years, I have been lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time travelling around Europe.
Thinking of Italy, one of the things that sticks in my mind most as far as decor and architecture are concerned is the elegant style of the windows in the Tuscany area.
I didn't take this photo myself but it illustrates beautifully the lovely curve of the top of the window, the simplicity of the shutters (very practical on a hot day), the small balcony and the colourful flowers in the window box - lovely.
