Beautiful Birds In Australia

If you are the type of person that likes to cut pictures out of magazines and newspapers, you have won half of the battle when it comes to economical ways to decorate your wall.

I have walked into many homes that have beautiful artwork on their walls and you would think that they have spent a lot of money on the pictures.

Pictures of birds or nature will definitely brighten up the room.

I used to wonder why many homes had one wall that would be painted a very dark color or odd color that seemed like it did not go with the décor of the home.

This is the perfect wall to display some nature pictures you can find in magazines.

I find that shiny pictures look best in picture frames. When it comes to frames, the local Thrift store will have frames for less than a dollar at times.

The pictures that are not shiny do not look as good as the ones that have a glossy finish. Also, you can put a gold finish on some of the picture frame for a different look if that blends in well with the rest of the decor in your room.

Whatever your passion, find the pictures and create a little piece of heaven on your walls.

Andrea's Response

Sounds like a good idea to me Bertha.

Actually I read recently about someone who regularly bought old books in car boot sales and flea markets and cut out and framed the pictures from them.

Apparently there is quite a bit of money to be made selling things like that on Ebay so a money saving idea for your home and maybe a money earning opportunity too!

My thanks to dicktay2000 @ flickr for the stunning photo
