If you like big, graphic prints, consider framing wallpaper samples!
You can get some really cool, retro samples at Home Depot, Lowe’s or even Sherwin Williams and because they’re already meant to go on a wall, you can usually find paint to match very easily.
Sometimes you can also get a set of three samples that are the same design but different colorways or all the same colors but different patterns - either of these options looks really good hung as a group.

I think this is a great idea.
It is well worth your time browsing at local garage sales or car boot fairs to pick up nice frames to have on hand for when you need them.
An item often doesn't sell easily if the picture is rather uninspiring but knowing that you can just throw out the picture and re-use the frame with a free wallpaper sample means you can pick up a bargain frame.
Most frames can be easily rubbed down and painted too so it is really only the size and shape that interests you.
